Will Barack Obama win the 2012 Presidential Election?
The political cost of overhauling the health care system turned out to be higher than
President Obama had expected. American voters bruised by economic hardships
handed a crushing defeat to the Democratic Party in the US mid-term elections. Even
a strong Jupiter could not help President Obama this time. President Obama is in
Jupiter Main Period and Rahu sub period from Feb 2010 to July 2012. Transit Jupiter
was weak and badly afflicted by transit Saturn during the months of May, June, July,
August, and September 2010. US Economy showed no signs of improvement, and
was the main reason of Democrat’s defeat.
Transit Jupiter will be strong next four months until Mar 10th 2011. This will still be a
good period for President Obama as main period lord Jupiter will be strong by transit.
But President Obama has a difficult road ahead and will face new challenges between
Mar and Sept 2011. Mahadasha lord Jupiter will again come opposite transit Saturn
during the months of March, April, May 2011, not good at all. During this time Mercury,
Venus, Sun, and Mars will also be in Pisces along with Jupiter directly in the fire power
of transit Saturn from Virgo. During this time the sub period lord Rahu in President
Obama’s astrology chart will also become unfavorable as Rahu will be transiting Ketu’
s nakshatra and Ketu will be transiting Mars nakshatra, the badhaka planet for
President Obama, from Feb 2011 to Oct 2011. These are very Sensitive months for
President Obama and the United States. Finally mahadasha lord Jupiter will again
come opposite Saturn one last time during December 2011, January, February, and
March 2012. This will be again a very difficult period for Obama. This will also be a very
difficult period for Vice President Joe Biden. During this time the Administration may
seriously think of replacing him with a new Candidate for the 2012 elections. In
nutshell President Obama will not be able to accomplish much in his first term.
President Obama’s approval ratings will continue to drop during this time. There will
be no improvement in the economy and the unemployment rate will continue to stay
high.
After July 2012 the momentum will again shift in favor of President Obama as he will
come out of 12th lord Jupiter’s mahadasha and will enter ascendant lord, and 2nd
house lord Saturn’s mahadasha. Saturn is a very good planet for President Obama. At
the same time transit Jupiter will enter Taurus sign on May 16th, 2012, and will start
aspecting the natal position of Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn in President Obama’s
astrology chart. This will be excellent time for Obama when luck will be on his side
once again. President Obama’s approval ratings will go up after June/July 2012, and
the public opinion will again shift in his favor just before 2012 elections. Hillary Clinton
will replace Joe Biden for the Vice President’s position in 2012 elections. Obama will
win 2012 elections very easily and will get re-elected as the President of United
States for the second term. Year 2013 and 2014 will be the golden years in Obama’s
second term and for United States. The economy will be doing better in US, and
President Obama will solve many domestic and international problems during this
time. Obama will be able to end the two wars and bring troops home during this
period. Obama may even win another Nobel Prize or some kind of award during this
time. During this time Jupiter will be transiting Gemini sign from May 30th, 2013 to
June 18th, 2014, and will aspect transit Saturn in Libra, the mahadasha lord in Obama’
s chart, by its 5th aspect.
President Obama will run out of luck between Oct 2014 and Dec 2015 when transit
Saturn will be in Scorpio. Saturn in Scorpio will aspect all important planets in his
astrology chart while Obama is in Saturn’s mahadasha. Transit Saturn in Scorpio will
aspect the natal position of ascendant lord Saturn and 12th lord Jupiter in Capricorn
by its third aspect, the natal position of the 7th house lord Moon in Taurus sign by its
7th aspect, and the natal position of Rahu and 10th house lord Mars in Leo sign by its
10th aspect. During this time President Obama will find it very difficult to complete his
second term. The enemies of the United States are represented by the 7th house in
Obama’s chart. The lord of 7th house Moon is in Taurus sign at 10 degrees in Obama’s
chart. When Saturn goes to 10 degrees in Scorpio which will happen three times
between Oct 2014 and Dec 2015 will be a very sensitive time for President Obama
and the United States.

President Obama will enter Saturn Mahadasha in July 2012, but soon after that there
will be a Saturn and Mars conjunction in mid August this year. So the period from
August 10th to August 20th will be a challenging period when Saturn will afflict its
own nakshatra lord Mars, as Saturn is transiting Mars nakshatra Chitra between 23
degrees 20 minutes in Virgo and 6 degrees 40 minutes in Libra. So technically the
period after August 20th will be an excellent period for President Obama.

Vice President Joe Biden walked into the Oval Office and apologized to President
Obama a few hours before the president announced that he supports same-sex
marriage yesterday. Joe Biden is a Scorpio ascendant and is going through Jupiter
main period and Mercury sub period. In Joe Biden’s astrology chart the natal Jupiter in
Cancer sign is at 2 degrees badly aspected by transit Saturn at this moment. Jupiter
rules his second house of speech as well. In end of May and June this year transit
Jupiter will be afflicted by Ketu due to Jupiter Ketu conjunction. Then Saturn will again
aspect the natal Jupiter after mid August this year in Vice President Biden’s astrology
chart. Vice President Biden is prone to making some more mistakes in the coming
months according to his astrology chart, and may put President Obama in more
embarrassing situations. That is why I predicted in my earlier analysis that Biden will
not be there in the second term, and will eventually be replaced by Hillary Clinton as
Hillary will be in a very auspicious period after September this year. Joe Biden is in
good main period and sub periods but transits are highly unfavorable for Joe Biden
now and in the coming months especially during the election time in November this
year.

As I predicted in Nov 2010 in my article on President Obama that momentum will again
shift in favor of President Obama after June / July 2012, the time has come now. The
Supreme Court upheld President Obama’s historic health care law – a defining
moment in the 2012 race for the White House. The stunning ruling was a huge victory
for President Obama who staked much of his term on passing the national plan. The
ascendant ruler Saturn in President Obama’s astrology chart became direct last week,
very powerful. Also transit Jupiter, the mahadasha lord is aspecting two prominent
planets natal Saturn and natal Jupiter in Capricorn in President Obama’s astrology
chart. Jupiter also aspected the transit Mars, the 10th house ruler in Virgo when the
Supreme Court upheld the President Obama’s health care law.

First debate was won by Romney as his mahadasha lord Sun was transiting in
Virgo sign and received benefic aspect from transit Jupiter in Taurus. This is a
good time for Romney. But things will change before next the two debates, as Sun
will enter Libra sign on Oct 15th, and will collide with evil Saturn. So Romney will
not be able to do well in the next two debates as mahadasha lord Sun will be
conjunct Saturn in Libra.
In President Obama’s case his 7th house lord Moon which represents the people
of United States who are going to vote in the Presidential elections, was afflicted
with Ketu in Taurus sign by transit. So his performance in the first debate was not
good, and his approval ratings went down. But Obama will do very well in the next
two debates. President Obama’s performance in third debate on Oct 22nd will be
his best performance when he will be able to seal the deal with the American
people because Moon on that day will be in Capricorn and it will receive 9th
aspect from the transit Jupiter in Taurus.

Mitt Romney’s is now going through a difficult time according to his Vedic Chart, as
his Mahadasha lord Sun has entered its debilitated sign Libra on Oct 15th and
stays in its weak sign until November 15th. Transit Sun is badly afflicted by its
conjunction with evil Saturn in Libra at this time attributes to the fact that Romney
could not do well in the last two debates, as predicted by me on Oct 8th. The
Bhukti period lord Mercury in Romney’s chart will join Rahu in the next couple of
days, is not good at all.
Mercury will go retrograde on the day of the election November 6th evening
around 6 PM Eastern Time, when the election results will be declared. Moon will
be transiting Mercury’s nakshatra Aslesha in Cancer sign at the same time. This
makes Mercury very negative on the day of the election November 6th evening.
The retrograde Mercury will be bad for Mitt Romney on November 6th evening, but
not for Barack Obama, because Mitt Romney is in Mercury sub period (Bhukti),
and Barack Obama is not in Mercury period or sub period. President Obama is in
strong exalted Saturn main period / Saturn Sub period / Saturn sub sub period
should give him victory, and the 2nd term as the President of the United States.

Mercury goes retrograde this evening at 6 PM EST is not good for Romney.
Mercury retrograde can create some delay or problems with the election results.
Next week looks very negative for Romney. There is a Solar eclipse next week on
Nov 13/14. Obama's planets are more stable and consistent. This time Obama
will be lucky if there is any dispute or problems with the election results.
