The Downfall of India's 'Mother' Politician : Jayalalitha Astrology Analysis

One of India’s most flamboyant and controversial politicians, Jayaram Jayalalitha, has been sentenced to prison for 4 years on corruption charges. Ms Jayalalitha is worshipped as a goddess by many of her supporters. She is an alluring movie star who acted in more than 140 films, and a successful and powerful politician leader, who rose to the top. She also had her share of controversies, one of which eventually led to her going to prison for amassing unaccounted wealth of more than $10million. She became the first incumbent Chief Minister in India to be disqualified from holding office due to conviction in a disproportionate assets case on September 27, 2014.

Ms Jayalalitha born (Feb 24th, 1948, at 2:34PM in Mandya India) is a Gemini ascendant with ascendant degree at 17 degrees 29 minutes in Gemini sign. The birth time is unconfirmed, I got it from internet. But it appears to be the correct birth time. The ascendant lord Mercury rules 1st house and 4th house and is placed in 8th house in the 6th (competition) and 11th (gains) lord Mars Dhanishta nakshatra, and Mars is in 2nd (money) house in conjunction with the 2nd lord Moon. The ascendant lord Mercury is in excellent nakshatra, and is aspected by two auspicious planets for Gemini Ascendant, 6th and 11th lord Mars and 2nd lord Moon. The ascendant lord Mercury is very strong, and connected with very auspicious planets. This attributes to her high level of success as an actor and politician.

Ms Jayalalitha has some very strong planets, she has done very well as an actor during 5th lord Venus, Mahadasha, and later sun and moon mahadashas. Mars and Rahu mahadashas were good for political career, and success. The disproportionate assets case was going on for 18 years, but Rahu mahadasha protected her for 18 years as Rahu is in 11th house of gains in Mars sign Aries. But unfortunately Ms Jayalalitha entered evil Jupiter mahadasha in August 2012. Jupiter is a very evil planet for Gemini ascendant because it rules both Badhaka and Maraka houses by being lord of 7th house. Jupiter is in Moola nakshatra ruled by Ketu and Ketu represents 12th house lord Venus by being in Venus sign Libra. So Jupiter is not only Badhaka and Maraka lord for her but also Jupiter has a connection with 12th house (confinement) lord Venus by being in Ketu’s nakshatra Moola, and Ketu represents Venus by being in Libra sign. Ms Jayalalitha entered 8th house lord Saturn’s bhukti on September 26th, 2014, just a day before her arrest on September 27th, 2014, as per KP System. Jupiter mahadasha Saturn bhukti until April 5th, 2017 will be painful and challenging for her as the mahadasha lord Jupiter has a connection with Bhadhaka and Maraka house, and 12th house. Bhukti lord Saturn has a connection with the 8th house of punishment, and fine. This is the main reason for Ms Jayalalitha’s down fall and arrest. Traditional Vedic Astrologers had predicted that 2014 will be an excellent year for Ms Jayalalitha as Jupiter is very strong in its own sign in Sagittarius in the 7th house. I cannot believe even the personal astrologers to Ms Jayalalitha could not see this downfall coming at the end of 2014. Now she is going to try for bail on Tuesday October 7th, just a day before the eclipse. In my opinion it will be difficult for her to get bail in this month of October, because her lagna lord Mercury has already become retrograde and it will came back to Virgo and will be afflicted by its conjunction with Rahu, and we have two eclipses this month. She may get bail after facing lot of obstacles. There is a better chance of getting her bail in November when mahadasha lord Jupiter will not be aspected by Saturn, rather Jupiter will be aspecting bhukti lord Saturn, and ascendant lord Mercury will be transiting in Scorpio where it will be aspected by Jupiter.The planetary transits will be favorable for her between November 2nd this year and July next year as Jupiter and Saturn by transit will be good. But during this time the Mahadasha / Bhukti are highly unfavorable. Ms Jayalalitha can expect some lucky period between September 2017 and October 2018 when Jupiter will be transiting Libra sign and will aspect the natal Mercury in Aquarius, while she will be in Mercury Bhukti in Jupiter mahadasha. As Mercury, her ascendant lord is the best planet in her astrology chart. But again the Jupiter mahadasha is very evil for her as Jupiter is the Badhaka and Maraka planet for her and also has a connection with 12th house lord Venus.

As I mentioned the bail will be difficult, so Jayalalitha's bail was rejected by the Court. She can try again after Nov / Dec this year, transits will be more favorable at that time. But as I mentioned before, the Jupiter mahadasha will be difficult and challenging. The Saturn bhukti will be very difficult.

I was right about difficult time in Oct for Jayalalitha, and I also mentioned that she may get bail after facing some obstacles this month. The mahadasha of Jupiter and Bhukti of Saturn are both evil, and they indicated bad results. But please understand her lagna lord Mercury is very strong as I have explained in my article. When the lagna lord Mercury is strong and she has some other very strong planets such as Rahu, Mars, Moon etc, the person will overcome the obstacles.When I analyzed her chart, the Mahadasha of Jupiter and Bhukti of Saturn gave me a negative answer. It appeared to me that she will not get bail. But when I looked at the strength of the lagna lord Mercury and other planets, I also added in my article that she may get the bail after facing lot of obstacles. This is what has happened in this case. First the bail was denied by the lower court, then later granted by Supreme court. So the strength of the lagna lord and the overrall astrology chart is very important.

UPDATE:

As I had mentioned that the lagna lord Mercury is a very strong planet in the natal astrology chart and is aspected by two auspicious planets Moon and Mars. She will overcome all obstacles. Ms Jayalalitha entered Jupiter / Saturn / Mercury period from Feb 17, 2015 to June 29, 2015. The Mercury Anthara helped her win the court case, and the court cleared Jayalalitha of corruption charges. But we should remember that Jayalalitha is in Badhaka and Marraka planet Jupiter mahadasha and 8th house lord Saturn Bhukti until April 2017. Year 2016 from February to August will be again difficult and challenging for Jayalalitha, when there will be Jupiter, Rahu conjunction in Leo sign, and they both will be aspected by Saturn from Scorpio. Ms Jayalalitha can expect some lucky period between September 2017 and October 2018 when Jupiter will be transiting Libra sign and will aspect the natal Mercury in Aquarius, while she will be in Mercury Bhukti in Jupiter mahadasha. Mercury Bhukti will be very auspicious for her.

JAYALALITHA HEALTH AND LOGEVITY UPDATE

Jayalalitha is in Jupiter mahadasha and Saturn bhukti until April 4th, 2017. This is a very sensitive period for her health and longevity, as Jupiter is the badhaka and Maraka planet in her astrology chart and Saturn rules the 8th house in the astrology chart. The beginning of 2017, after January 25th, 2017 will be even more challenging time. Transit Saturn moves into Sagittarius on January 25th, 2017 and transits the natal position of the mahadasha lord Jupiter in Sagittarius sign, as natal Jupiter is at 2 degrees in Sagittarius sign. Simultaneously transit Saturn from Sagittarius will also aspect the natal position of the ascendant lord Mercury in Aquarius sign. Natal Mercury is at 2 degrees 46 minutes in Aquarius sign. Saturn will go retrograde on April 5th, 2017 at 4 degrees in Sagittarius and again enter Scorpio on June 21, 2017. Also in the month of June / July 2017 Ketu will transit natal Mercury in Aquarius sign, not good at all. In my opinion the period from January 25th 2017 to June 21st, 2017 is a very, very sensitive time for health and longevity for Jayalalitha. Let us see how this time will play out in her life.

Ascendant lord Mercury is transiting the 7th house Sagittarius sign, which is a badhaka and marraka house in the Jayalalitha's astrology chart, until February 2nd, 2017 is a very sensitive time for her longevity, during Jupiter mahadasha. We can further pinpoint the sensitive time for her longevity between December 15 and January 15th, when Sun will transit the Sagittarius sign, the badhaka and marraka house (7th house) in the astrology chart. Some important events can happen during this period. As I have mentioned in my last update, that the time until June 21st, 2017 is a very very difficult time for Jayalalitha's longevity.
